The Franklin Village Rental has excellent availability for both long and short stays. As you'll see from the photographs, our eclectic style is both welcoming and worthy of a longer stay. You'll feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
We are located in Hollywood at the edge of Los Feliz, in the popular neighborhood called Franklin Village. Griffith Park, with over 4,000 acres of trails and activities, is only a few blocks away. Whether you're in town for relaxation, business, filming at one of the studios, shopping, or sightseeing -- you can get there from here. We are close to bus lines, the subway stop, and we have off-street parking. If you bring more than one vehicle, there is ample street parking. The house is less than 5 minutes from the 101 freeway, and less than 10 minutes from the 5 freeway. Universal Studios is just 10 minutes up the road, as is the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The house itself has three bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs. The master bedroom (with queen bed) and bathroom are on one end of the house and the other two bedrooms (one queen bed, one full bed) and 2nd bath are at the other end. The loft is accessed by stairs/ladder and in addition to the loft space (with two twin beds) has a half bath and a rooftop deck. The stairway to this loft area is steep and not recommended for the elderly.
If you can't bear to travel without your canines, they are welcome here. Downstairs is all hardwood floors and the property is surrounded by ficus trees and fencing for both privacy and to keep the doggies inside the property. We even have a dog bed available!
Our neighborhood has everything you'll want for your stay within a couple of blocks. You don't need a car to go to the SuperMarket, coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, galleries, or the theatre.
While the location is great for access to restaurants, tourist spots, and freeways... this means it is also in an urban area. We are located in a populated neighborhood that has its fair share of foot and street traffic. Our property is fenced in, secure, and private... but it is right in the thick of it.

"This little house was the perfect size for my four friends and I (and we're talking a ladies' vacation of 5 women, picture the amounts of suitcases and shopping bags here). It was large enough for all of us to have space and feel comfortable, but not so big that we needed to shout through the house to one another. The property itself was in a perfect location - we were literally fifteen minutes away from everything! It was also two blocks away from my favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles, which gets a huge plus from me. The only downside is that the master bedroom is at a fairly busy corner, and sometimes larger vehicles passing by it caused it to shake. Everything was clean, and Scott couldn't have made things easier for us. He was extremely accommodating from the first phone call when I inquired about the property to the last email that I sent after the trip to thank him. We had one or two minor issues with a couple of things, and he responded to my email within minutes, and fixed the problem pretty much instantly. The house was private, spacious, clean, and well kept, and we lacked absolutely nothing while we were there. It was awesome to share a house with my all of my girlfriends rather than be split up into hotel rooms. We went out, we stayed in, we felt comfortable and we had a great time. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this or any property managed by Scott in the future. In fact, I'm looking for reasons to go back, and I don't plan to waste time looking at hotels for future LA visits when I could stay here."
